Factlines announces a strategic leadership transition.
Effective 22 January 2024, Henrik Halvorsen assumes the role of CEO, while Siri Engesæth moves into the pivotal position of Chief Sustainability Officer.
The leadership shift marks a new chapter for Factlines, focused on expanding supply chain compliance solutions and advancing sustainability reporting for businesses across Norway and internationally.
A strategic leadership change for Factlines’ next phase
Strengthening supply chain compliance and reporting capabilities
"Over the last year, Factlines has developed a new tech platform and launched new products and is now entering a new phase, requiring an increased focus on domain competence, strategic development, and growth. Siri will continue to be a thought leader in her field of expertise and contribute to the continuous development of Factlines' digital platform. Henrik brings experience from advising national and international companies and scaling, growing, and managing an international consultancy in Europe," says Espen Zachariassen, Chairman of the Board.
Building on a decade of innovation
Established in 2012, Factlines has been at the forefront of facilitating the green transition through digital solutions for sustainable supplier networks, the EU Taxonomy, and the Transparency Act.
"Drawing from a decade of operational experience and our advanced SaaS platform, Factlines is geared to be a pivotal player in the new, fact-oriented ESG landscape. The journey ahead is exciting," says Siri Engesæth.
Positioning for Nordic and international expansion
As incoming Chief Sustainability Officer, Engesæth's expertise will continue advancing Factlines' technological platform, delivering tangible benefits to customers and supporting their compliance needs.
In 2022, Factlines joined Alytic, part of Arendals Fossekompani, and has since tripled its workforce, propelled by a strong ambition to become a global leader in sustainability compliance and supply chain solutions.
Meeting new regulatory demands
As CEO, Henrik Halvorsen brings extensive leadership and international experience, notably from co-founding Gambit and his tenure with Hill+Knowlton Strategies.
"EU and local regulations are changing the landscape of sustainability reporting, starting with larger listed companies in 2024," says Halvorsen.
The timeline extends to large non-listed companies in 2025, and by 2026, even SMEs will be engaged.
"Companies will have to dive into something they may find difficult to understand and time-consuming to handle. This presents great business opportunities for making high-quality reporting easier, faster, smarter, and more efficient. Factlines does exactly that, with software solutions for supply chain verification, due diligence, and taxonomy reporting — both key components to meet the new requirements in the EU and Norway. I am really looking forward to working with the team to explore the opportunities that lay ahead."
