The partnership and collaboration involves a significant simplification of EU taxonomy reporting in particular for energy producers in water, wind and solar and combines Captiva's expertise as a leading advisor in renewable energy with Factline's market-leading ESG software solutions.
Factlines, known for its self-service ESG solutions in supply chain and taxonomy, is now taking over Captiva's taxonomy solution, Rexonomy. This content will be integrated into the Factlines platform, giving both existing and new customers in the renewables industry access to continuously updated regulatory content, as well as extended guidance and templates for statutory reporting. In addition, customers will be able to receive advisory assistance from Captiva if necessary, to ensure a smooth implementation of self-assessment and reporting work. The agreement means that Vardar and the entire Cloudberry portfolio of 35 power plants will use Factlines' platform going forward.
Conducting a full taxonomy assessment for power companies is a technically demanding task. The combination of good guidance, process tools and smart software that simplifies data acquisition, financial calculations and reporting will be invaluable to our power customers, says Magnus Hagebø, Asset Manager at Captiva.
Expanding Factline's ESG platform with even more sector-specific and detailed content makes our self-service solutions even more precise and user-friendly. The regulatory landscape for power players is constantly changing. Our updated software will take care of all relevant technical ESG criteria and enable internal interaction and reporting at project and subsidiary level. We believe this will be of great value to the energy companies, says Henrik Halvorsen, CEO of Factlines.
Cloudberry has used this tool to document and verify that all our power plants meet the requirements of the taxonomy. Good digital systems are essential to streamline and secure reporting, and the collaboration with Factlines will further increase the usefulness and value for us," says Ingrid Bjørdal, Chief Sustainability Officer at Cloudberry.
